Bob Marshall Wilderness Pack Trips
Swan Mountain Outfitters offers three, four, five, and six-day horseback pack and fishing trips in the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. This is one of the most spectacular natural settings imaginable. Our five-day trip is our most popular.
Having guided many guests into the wilderness on horseback, we know that most want access to real wilderness, using safe but active horses and a comfortable camping environment, good food and an itinerary that is active and fun but not too demanding.
We operate our Montana pack trips out of wilderness a 'base camp' . We venture out in a different direction from camp each day and we return to the same location each evening. Our base camp provides us with dry, warm luxury camping accommodations and a good night's sleep on soft beds after a day full of activity. Our camp is outfitted with clean restroom facilities and outback hot showers. 
We pride ourselves in providing top quality meals and “luxury” amenities in a true backcountry setting.
