This was my first time ever doing a pack trip. I had never even been camping before and had an amazing experience with Swan Mountain Outfitters. I made memories I’ll never forget. The Bob Marshall Wilderness is one of the most special places I’ve ever been and it truly felt like a privilege to be there. Jacob and Heather were incredible guides and wranglers. They were so knowledgeable and experienced. I felt completely safe, cared for, and at home the entire time. Everything was so well organized from the horses to the gear to the camp setup. The horses were clearly well trained and well loved and matched perfectly to each of us. The food was great and the whole experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the wilderness. I came in with zero camping experience and left feeling confident and inspired. I did the 3 day trip this time but next time I’m signing up for the 5 day.
